Why do my assets look weird or different from the marketplace pictures?
A lot of our assets use Distance Fields for their materials, which UE4 has disabled by default.
Tropical Ocean Tool
My ocean material is invisible in UE4.23+?
This is usually caused by not having atleast 1 static mesh in your scene or not having Generate Distance Fields Enabled.
Branching River Tool
Whats different from this River Tool to your other one?
This River Tool uses a completely different system of how the material works. It uses flow maps instead of a panning texture. it can also have painted flow direction with the vertex painting tools. I would use this asset to replace the other one if you plan to have branching rivers. however this one does not support buoyancy currently.
Does this work on Moblie?
Currently this asset has been untested on mobile platforms. However the system itself should work, just the material would need to be changed.
My river doesn't warp around meshes or landscapes?
Please enable "Generate Distance Fields" within your project settings.
River Tool
My water seems to be very "Spikey"?
This is usually caused by the distance fields. Try reducing the "Distance Field Displacement Intensity" within your river material instance. or reducing any of the height/displacement settings within the same material instance.

I can see a seam between the spline points?
This could be due to texture scaling you have set in your material instance as this material does not use world aligned textures. try setting it to 2, 4 ,6 scale etc.
Why does my river not look like the marketplace pictures?
Only the UE4 4.23 has the overhaul update applied, which the marketplace previews are currently displaying.
